The healthiest way to treat the dark circles is using the home remedies. That is because the skin around the eye region is thin and delicate. Thus, home remedies for dark circles are the best and the cheap option to go for. Here are a few of the effective ingredients that can help you treat dark circles naturally.

  1. Tomatoes

You can either apply the tomato juice or rub gently with tomato slice around the eyes, or you can mix some tomato juice with few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder and apply it like a mask around skin.

  1. Potato and Cucumber

To get rid of the darkness and eye puffiness, both of them can used on the dark circles. You can either juice them up or dab under the eyes using cotton pad or you can just slice them and put it on the eyes for about 5-10 minutes.

  1. Tea bags

Tea bags are also effective on dark circles, you can put a cold and used tea bag around the eye region for some time and pat it dry afterwards.

Almond oil is also effecting in the getting rid of the Almond oil, you can sue the Almond oil around the skin before you sleep and leave it overnight. Wash it in the morning.

Cover the ice cube in a cotton napkin and dab it around the eyes. Cold compress is effective in curing dark circles. You can also use cold water.

Mint rejuvenates the skin thus helping in lightening the dark circles. You can apply crushed mint directly on the skin and keep it there for a few minutes.

  1. Pineapple juice

Apply a mixture of pineapple juice and some turmeric on the dark circles.

  1. Milk

Mix a few saffron strands with the 2 table spoon milk and keep it soaked overnight. Apply it on the dark circles and gently massage for some time.

Except all these home remedies, you need to improve your diet. Eat more fruits and vegetable and especially the ones that are rich in Vitamins and Iron. For healthy skin and refreshed eyes you can drink tomato juice mixed with some lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Also, do not forget to get enough, at least 8 hours of sleep.
